OttBallOut chapter 1 . 8/21/2010
I reall like this first part so far!

A few notations: I would clear up the prologue a little bit. Are they from Pluto? If so, why did they leave our solar system, then return? How will you contend with the proposition Pluto is not considered a planet but rather a "dwarf planet"? I'd expand the prolouge and have it stand on its own from the first chapter.

BTW" 02500 " is not any sort of military time 0 is midnight 1200 is noon and 2359 is one minute until midnight

I hope this continues and have a great day! (Psst r&r some of mine maybe?) ;)

LOL okay a couple of things: really well done but I'm going to be honest, not my favorite of your work!

Number one, I don't remember saying the Pledge any time after 6th grade haha, I don't think I ever said it in jr. high or high school, I'm not sure how other states or school districts do it.

And something you may want to change...02500 hours...there are several reasons this is wrong. First of all, there are only 24 hours in a day. Second of all, after 12:00pm (noon), you add one for each hour, for example, 1:00pm in military time is 1300 hours, noon is 1200 hours...1:00-9:00 AM hours are preceded by a zero simply to keep it at four characters, for example 9:00am is 0900 hours. Anything after that does not have a zero before it :). I'll make a list for ya

1:00am0100hours

2:00am0200hours

3:00am0300hours

4:00am0400hours

5:00am0500hours

6:00am0600hours

7:00am0700hours

8:00am0800hours

9:00am0900hours

10:00am10hours(ten-hundred, not one thousand haha)

11:00am1100hours

12:00pm1200hours

1:00pm1300hours

2:00pm1400hours

3:00pm1500hours

4:00pm1600hours

5:00pm1700hours

6:00pm1800hours

7:00pm1900hours

8:00pm20hours

9:00pm2100hours

10:00pm2200hours

11:00pm2300hours

12:00am0hours (never actually heard anybody say this but I'm guessing it would be oh-zero-hundred hours? lol idk)
