Reviews for Colorful Collection
Thenardier chapter 15 . 4/20/2011
The first stanza alone is beautiful. The following two stanzas may not be as lyrical, but they are definitely thought provoking and as usual, really fits the title, which is amazing in itself.
this one, i actually got the meaning.

simple, but sends out the message.

"transparency is greying out"...wonderful!
maybe because my brain is too tired, but i'm not trying to understand the poem anymore. when i read every line, i think of the color you're writing about.

it's sort of relaxing, i think. )

last stanza flowed nicely.
"aurora of smile"

lovelovelove the line. )

the last two lines reminded me of purplish pink or red, but it still gives off a feeling of light yellow.
the beginning is wonderful )

the ending i didn't like so much for some reason.

the "fear" part i didn't understand, because i thought it would be a more natural acceptance of the fading away.

the third line, i think it should be "timid"?

very nice, better than what i can come up with. p
to me, the poem really doesn't make sense, but every line DOES make me think of orange. )

crazy, intense.
Thenardier chapter 14 . 3/5/2011
This one made the most sense. I find it somewhat disturbing that it do, but that's why I really loved it.
Thenardier chapter 13 . 3/5/2011
Reading this made me wonder what images you have in mind that brings out such beautiful comparisons.

One thing though, I really found it interesting how you chose to compare red with other colours, unlike how you depict the colours previously on their own.
Thenardier chapter 12 . 3/5/2011
'Yet we do not know, the humility of words'. I really adore this line. Another great entry into the collection!
Der Adler Des Mondes chapter 1 . 8/14/2010
Wow with one verse you were able weave in a emotion called love.

I never to be honest experience love or crush. To like someone is foreign but this poem let me drink from the never dranked pool.
Eternal Skies chapter 1 . 8/8/2010
I liked the rhthym to this

With the help of the title, I imagined pink-tainted cheeks, eyes that look from under lashes, and a finger twirling around a strand of hair

Thenardier chapter 11 . 8/1/2010
Although the rhythm is slightly offbeat, overall the poem flows very smoothly and it conveys the idea of silver beautifully.
Thenardier chapter 10 . 8/1/2010
A very apt portrayal. I loved the juxtapositions present here. And of course, the last two lines cleverly tie up everything.
Thenardier chapter 9 . 7/29/2010
A wonderful way to end this marvelous collection. I must say I am really in love with your beautiful and meticulous descriptions of each colour. An instant fave!
Thenardier chapter 8 . 7/29/2010
The multifaceted description here is in such contradiction with your title, and I believe it helps to highlight the beauty of this piece. A wonderful way to describe the colour grey.
