|Reviews for Old Friends|
| LuWanda chapter 1 . 10/19/2011
How have I missed this? You captured a great deal of emotion in this. I have often wondered what Hancock's initial response was when he found out his best friend died. I have done extensive studies on these two men and their lives pre-war, during the War and Hancock's life afterwards. I have never found a shred of information dealing with how Hancock handled the knowledge that he had sent the reinforcements that ultimately killed Armistead. I know it must have torn him up, but he was a soldier... and soldiers do their duty. So very sad a situation.
I loved how you handled it.
| Oracle93 chapter 1 . 12/12/2010
A lot of historical writers tend to get so caught up in showing off with detail that they forget to make the characters human. I'm glad to see you don't have that problem (not that your detail is lacking). This is brilliantly realized and more moving than anything one could make up.
| Star the Foxhound chapter 1 . 7/25/2010
So sad... and yet so beautiful. I love it, Dana. :) Poor Lo and Win. Poor all of them.
| SnowClaw of Windclan chapter 1 . 7/25/2010
This is absolutely amazing. I can't get over how well the detail's done OAO
