This story is exactly my life right now! I love it! But it reminds me soo much about my guy...

personally, i've never been in love.. but i belive that love can't exist if it's only one-way.. i think that what this girl is feeling is more of an obsesion than anything else, because when you "love" someone you don't really know as a person, it's called an attraction.. that's my opinion anyway ;) a little depressing, but a good one-shot none the less :)

The story is so deep and beautiful, and scarily like what mine is now.

First off, I just want to honestly say I hate unrequited love that's why I come on here to read the stories with occasional happy endings that I can one day hope to have.

Anyways, I liked how easy it was for me to relate to your story...I wish I could have moved away...but life is sad. I just wished that your character had more of a voice. What do I mean by that? Well, when you're stuck in the state of unrequited love and heartbreak, you don't really say this less. (Or at least, personally for me). So you could have increased the length or the emotions for this story could have gone a little further. The character tells her story and then some of her emotions and then that's that. For me personally, I didn't think that you went into your character as much as you could have.

Nonetheless, I love how there are moments weaved into this story to add to the time frame but like I previously said, more emotions and details would have made this wonderful.

Loved it! You made it very real in the sense that I think everyone feels this way at least once in their lives-usually, I'm a sucker for happy endings but this story is wonderfully written enough that it didn't need one :) Bravo!

"The Love Conundrum" is a very short one-shot about a nameless girl in love with a nameless guy. Even though it's only 1,663 words, there were several moments that made me go, "Wait-that happens to otherpeople too?" The main character switches schools in one of the first parts of the story and only one person asks her about it-her guy, who only sees her as a friend, if that. This, I think, was one of the events that made this story so relatable. The main character got that hopeless, helpless feeling of being alone and uncared for, which the author captured so brilliantly. And when she stumbles across his blog, which talked about the girl heloved, the author, once again, portrayed the emotions in a believeable yet simple way that left me feeling empty in a very good way. My favorite line was: "I'm glad he found someone that makes him feel the way I feel about him." That, to me, was like a punch in the stomach because it showed both how strongly the main character felt about him and how one's happiness is another person's misery. Overall, this story was just a good read that, even though it didn't have a happy ending, still leaves the reader feeling satisfied and fulfilled. Tamaria takes a superficial, scoffed-at topic and turns it into the distressing, heart-wrenching experience it really is.

you made me cry. like seriously. i just spoke to the guy i thought i got over for the first time since he and HER started dating. and i realised just how much i've changed since him. and how much hes changed me. and i really really connected with this. so good job! :)

This story was great. I loved the depth you put into it, the way I felt as much pain as she did. I was present in the story, not just reading it. I actually felt there.
