Reviews for War Torn Heart |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well, this story was certainly... interesting. Two of the characters were not at all sympathetic, including one of the main love interests. The author would try to boost his likeability and then contradict it on the next page. I couldn't figure out if she was just really bad at character development or was trying to do something odd, but yeah. Also, lots of odd religious references. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say this story has consumed a majority of my spring break and I don't even care because I loved every sentence of it. Your plot line is infalible and the twists, ingenous. I loved it all and I am so glad I read it, the story summary does not do this magnificant work justice. have a good morning/day/night. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like where this is going! The characters have a nice sense of depth, and it's fun to learn about what's going on with them. |
![]() ![]() ![]() One thing that I've noticed about the way that you're writing about this is that you're making the two sides hate each other and coldly kill. Because this was a civil war, that was not truly the case. Many had loved ones who were on the other sides, and it was awful for both sides because of this. They disagreed, yes, but most did not hate those on the other side in quite the way that you are describing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey! I really like this so far, but you used the wrong form of 'lying' in the second sentence. I think it was just a typo because you used the wrong form later. Just pointing that out in case you'd like to change it! Also, you're missing a few commas here and there. But overall, you have a nice writing style. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked your story very much: the setting, plot, and characters were great. Sad for James, Eric, and Robyn though I'm glad everything ends well for Damon and Jason. I really thought you were going to kill them all, lol! |
![]() ![]() ![]() OK, I don't know where to start with this story. Let's start with the fact that I loved it. Every single word and sentence and paragraph and chapter. I don't usually get the time to read stories this long online but this time, I made sure I had a couple of hours (or more, in some cases when I couldn't get enough of it!) to read and I would go through the day looking forward to it and wondering what would happen! In all honesty, I don't have that very often at all with books or online stories. I had been searching for a while for a story like this - a Civil War m/m story - and I was thrilled when I found yours and even more thrilled when I found out how wonderful it was! I got annoyed at the characters, I got sad with the characters, I was happy with the characters and I felt like I really knew them, which is a fantastic thing to have in a story! The dynamics between them were amazing and it seemed so real too and not all glossy and sappy like some stories dealing with romance are. I also loved all the little details throughout the story. They gave it a great sense of realism and background. I don't usually leave reviews as long as this - in fact, this is my first long one - but this story truly deserved it. I have never enjoyed an online story as much as this and I will certainly look at reading more of your stories. I don't think even this though sums up how much I adored it, but I had a go! Thankyou ever so much for writing this wonderful story, Katie x |
