It was a lot like this anime I watched, but it was still good. :)

As an author you have promise and I'd love to see you improve, which you no dount will.

If I may I'd like to offer some contructive criticism, wich is not intended to down hearten or otherwise upset you.

I know this is a one shot wich limits you, but I found that the story jumped rather than progressed. In that it was quite stop start, with sudden and sometimes seemingly un-needed bursts of emotion. I think the fact that they were sudenly best firends and he was contenplating being in love with her, made it seem unreaistic and so made it hard for me to belive in the characters.

If this were a full story I think you could have done a lot more with it, but as I said you were understandably limited.

I do think though that editing and re-frasing could greatly improve your story.

As I read this, I couldn't help but wonder if you got the idea from "La Corda D'Oro". xD Anyway, I think some parts were rushed, and the change in Rayne's personality seemed somewhat drastic to me. But overall, great job! I liked it. D

The title 'La Corda D'Oro' comes to mind when I read this :)

Anyway, I liked the story though I felt it was a little rushed, but I guess that's expected for a oneshot. If you wanted to expand it I'm sure you could do a lot with the plot and characters.
