So, I read each of these, but I think my favorite is still this first one (though don't get me wrong, they're all good). Yes, I'm a sucker for romance, but I'm also a sucker for interracial couples, and the monologue just feels so.../real/. It has breaks and slip-ups, cut-off sentences, the whole bit...and it's adorably, tooth-hurt sweet. Seriously. It makes me wonder what button she pressed at the end...part of me wants it to be 1...but the other part wants her to press 3, hang up, go run off to find him and kiss him - THEN make her speech in person.

Lovely little blips, all around, though. )
