I wonder what Laine's going to do with the photocopies- is she going to show it to Roseanne? I don't think Roseanne would believe her or at least, she'd turn a blind eye.

Oh god, I love love love love love this story. I've been thinking about it all day. Jace is so cute, how he just wants to be with Elena and nothing else,he affection from the beginning was obvious and Elena had some feelings herself. It seems that Jace's mother is deeply disturbed by the relationship and somewhat has a right to be but is taking it too far, but Jace's drinking problem is HIS problem and he shouldn't be drinking that much in the first place, I understand it's an escape but the escape stopped when he was with Elena, and I don't understand how Rosanne did not see that her son was no longer having problems.

Really happy that you updated so quickly! Forgive me if I'm slow but is he mentally ill or was he using? Because that's all I managed to gather from the end of this chapter. So confused! Can't wait until the next chappie!

I hope you update soon, cliffhangers drive me nuts! I have to say I wasn't expecting so much drama in this story, and it is so much more addictive for it.

Jace has really good characterization, but I feel like Laine could use some work. I don't have a distinct idea of what her personality is really like. Maybe through Jace's diary we can see what kind of person she is through his eyes?
