|Reviews for Waiting|
| Katerzzz chapter 1 . 9/2/2010
I really enjoyed this one shot, it is what all of us experience, is it slow broadband or does this person just not want to reply? Great realism. Interesting as well, and it's a shame that this is a one-shot because I would have liked this to have gone looking at it, I don't think it could have. Great job though ;P

Her fingers drummed against the table, her eyes staring at the computer screen
- since you have her figners "drummed" it should be her eyes "stared" as well.
Hehe, waiting for facebook to update/someone to reply! I'm sure a lot of us are guilty of that! :D
I quite liked this piece - it was quite normal, everyday stuff, and the waiting is quite modern and really easy to relate to.

Hmm, interesting little one shot you have here. I liked the simplicity of this piece. There isn't some huge, dramatic scene going on. It's actually quite calm and something the readers can relate to. You did a good job of capturing the frustration Anna was feeling while waiting for the text message. I also liked the little tidbit with Anna asking her mom to text her phone just because it's such a common thing that goes through everyone's head while waiting for the phone to ring or a text to appear. Very real and relateable. The exchange between Anna and Eric, who I assume is her brother, wasn't very believable to me but I think it was because of lack of background of their relationship. I don't know how they normally interact with eachother so that makes me doubt the authenticity of the moment. You could've done with a bit more detail in certain places but overall, this was a nice and sweet read. The ending was cute and you let this piece finish smoothly. Nicely done.
