Pel Harper breaks my heart. He sounds like a poor sweet young man and what happened to him seems to me to be the height of unfairnesss. You've drawn a very minor character so well you made me care about his life, hopes and dreams. I wondered about his background too. And that made me care about the unnamed dead wizards, because in my mind, they were all Pel Harper. Their fate saddened me even worse because some of them died years ago and no one looked for them or made a noise about their disappearance. That is sad.

I kind of wish we got to see Kieran's reunion with his mother. I'm sure she would happy leave the nunnery to meet him and would most likely want to move closer to him.

I'm excited to hear that the next installment centres around the children! I am excited to see how they have grown up! I always love children; I have a soft spot. Mmm... My guess is that Vincent is the wizard? I hope he doesn't grow to resent it; these things can sometimes be fragile. Hopefully he will rise to take the place of Royal Wizard. Okay well first I need to say that I love it when Kieran shows off his powers; it's delictable! But sometimes I do wish for a more... dramatic display of power? Like the tornado. That was fun! OH how I love your writing! I see that you are working on another sequel, but it is unfinished. As I have just spent the last 13 hours on these pieces, I will wait until the fourth is entirely complete before beginning it. LOVE YOU SO MUCH! (if it wasn't already apparent... haha)

Triplets are born! This is so exciting! I wonder if the last child will have any special powers because of Kieran...? I always thought it interesting that Imabrio's final words "one day a wizard will sit upon the throne" would come back in a way in which he would never have imagined.

You know, it strikes me that the relationship between Kieran, Edouard, and Celli is odd; bordering on polygamy, one might argue. But I love the three of them too much to care XD

Oh wow! This is spectacular! I think I was kind of right and kind of wrong. I suspected the wizards were being captured for their power, but not in this way! This is such a unique application! I love it! (a little disgusted, but it only adds to the ingenuity of the idea!)

So many feels in this one! Okay, so first impressions first. Celli's mother did not make a good first impression on me, but Mira's first impression was the worst. I'm trying to place this happenings in the court with the happenings with Wizard Hall, and at first I thought that perhaps it is the Ambreas behind it, but that is unlikely owing to their disdain for wizards (I'm still working off the theory that they're being drained for their power...) Mira might, but I'm not sure how much influence/power she controls. And then you so deliciously introducted the Old Church and the New Church. Old Church definitely has motives. Interesting. Also, lady Ambrea's talk with Kieran, very interesting too. Withholding judgement on the rest of the Ambrea family for now, but I'll be watching carefully.

Hm... interesting... random errant thought, but maybe someone is capturing weak wizards and draining their power. Just a guess in the dark.
I'm liking Celli more; she seems to have a good heart, and I really like the way she replied hostility with kindness. Yes, Celli is growing on me.

Oh, very interesting! Lady Celli... very interesting. I must admit that my first impression of her is favourable. I like her, and she seems to exactly fit the description of that Edouard is looking for. She seems intelligent and not the kind to become resentful towards Kieran, which is what I'm most fearing at the moment. Raising children in that kind of environment could be disasterous. I'm still suspicious of her sincerity; I'm not entirely convinced that she's not hiding something, but I really hope that she turns out like Moretz did, because I quite find her promising. I could grow to love her, I think. But if the candidate arises so easily, then what are the other 19 chapters for? And what about the healing gift? I have a feeling it has something to do with the heir... *grin* this is going to be incredible, I can already feel it! Can't wait to find out!
