Reviews for What If You Threw A Peace And Nobody Came? |

![]() ![]() ![]() I really liked the sarcastic tone of this piece; it really sent out a message. I actually read this yesterday but I didn't have a chance to review. And then today, I got an email with a bunch of pictures of some soldiers' happy reunions. And I thought of this poem. I thought, these people can be HAPPY now, they can be FREE. But some people can't. Because, as you said, "The killing still goes on." |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol. I indeed enjoyed this piece. Ah, how your sarcasm implores me to let out lots of giggles. heheheheh. |
![]() ![]() This reminds me of the Vietnam era draft dodgers who sneered: "What if they gave a war and nobody came?" My answer: "They would bring it to us. Remember Pearl Harbor." Now some of us remember September 11, 2001, even if you don't think it was worth a response. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very blunt and straightforward. That's why i love it! It really gets you thinking and while i was redaing it it seemed to have a sarcastic air to it. I love it :) |
