I like where you finished this chapter it suited, a nice length as well.

I think it would be good to have Jace survive definitely but I think it would be good to have him rescued after a few weeks or months. It would be pretty cool if Talon got away and a couple of years late rocked up again to take Jace back; Just a suggestion.
