This poem presents an interesting scenario, more bizzare than humourous. But I think that you did the entire thing a decent amount of justice, and the plot of it didn't seem too absurd. The fate of Mark seemed to be very ironic as well, and it exemplified the power of suggestion using the somewhat hilarious medium of a boy who refused to take a shower. I thought that this was an interesting approach to a philosophical point.
