Ah, things are fun with Lysander and Decadence together w But what's wrong with droping someone every once and while as long as you catch them before their brains are smashed into the pavement and stain the ground with blood? Because i dont really see anything wrong with it.

Technically (or supposedily, that is) if you know a Demon's name, you can control them. I think it's funny how Decandence acts towards Lysander's name though. It really is like he's a little kid. With the way he acts and throws tantrums, he would almost be cute if he couldn't kill you so easily. . . like pandas! (Pandas are my favorite animal) X]

Ha! Being dragged around by a demon with a silently tittering angel following you, how fun is that? Lysander is kinda like i would imagine him to be actually, personality wise at least. He sounds like a bag of laughs.

By Lysander has come around? Hmmmm. . . I bet he's either going to tease and tell some more information to Hollis, or he's going to try and capture Decadence again, in which Hollis will stop or else he'll be trapped together with the demon. Hehe, lets go and see, shall we?

For being a demon summoner, Hollis seems a little. . . weak hearted (?) when it comes to blood. Though maybe it's just the magnitude of the stench that makes him faint? Hm. . . other than that, whether he's afraid or not, he's fairing rather well seeing how he's chained to a demon on a spiritual level, just saw plenty of people killed, got tazered, punched by a bunch a bunch of dumb ass cops, and almost forced to eat straight mayo. . . I think I would of personally given up on life after that last one, hahaha.

Hope he gets out of his handcuffs though. . . those should only be used for kinky smex after all. X]

Decandence seems rather polite for a demon. . . though I would imagine with age, comes a little class, even for the stupidest of demons and djinn. Also, the talking was fine, and informational, so it should always pass in such a case (in my opinion that is). So are they just going to stroll through the streets, slaughtering people? That's a good way to get found ya know, haha.

Meh, if there is anything you can trust a demon on knowing, it's getting away those crafty bastards. X]

I must say though, it was their own fault for ending up dead. Two hundred years is a long time, no matter what the type of seal. Using simple tools is always good thing though, so praise to Hollis. But is everyone else a bloody mess? I must find out.

Your chapters seem a little short thus far, but they're consistant; ergo, I dont mind as much since i'm getting the story at an even rate. I so far like all the boys and I cant wait to see the next chapter and what the demon exctracting process is like, because (if I remember correctly) it has the title along the lines of 'Everything Goes Wrong'.

I must admit, i love your names. I'm not sure if you've seen them before, or have created them yourself, but i do love them. They're very fresh, and go along with the feel of magic which i adore X]

But Sprites and Imps are pesky buggers ya know. Succubi (that would probably be the plural. . . ) and Incubi are really only a horny nuisance. But Fallen Angels are always entertaining when it comes to havoc, so i look foward what is to follow!

Hmmm. . . i've just decided to get back on this site after i abandoned it a year or so ago, and i have always liked stories that involved magic and such every since i read the Bartimeaus trilogy, and now i'm curious of your story.

I know this site well enough to know most stories have tons of reviews because of their age, but i find it astounding you have over a 100 reviews in than a year. I find this site rather competitive, and am now compelled to read your story, which i believe i will enjoy, haha.

decadence's point of view is better

HELLO! I'm really enjoying this story, and therefore going to try and give this story as fair a review as possible, while also asking some questions about a couple things I didn't understand! Alright, here goes:

The Good:

-Very well-written characters, their development through out the story is sudden, yet poignant

-Nice balance, your story is detailed, but not overly or underly descriptive

-The chemistry, Hollis and Decadence interact very well in the story and it feels very natural

The Bad:

-Some more detail on Lysander would be nice

-The chapters could be longer

-I feel you should have done a little more build-up to the scene in Ch.13

The Questions:

-Why is Lysander able to sense Hollis' big emotional moments in Ch.13-14? I don't remember it mentioned before, and If it was always there, then how come Lysander never came all those times Hollis was feeling really angry or conflicted?

-Why is Decadence moving further from Hollis BEFORE he wanted the connection strengthened?

Otherwise, very well-written, well-rounded story, and I look forward to more. _

You are really good at writing this horror story. I started reading this story about a year ago, and I swore that I would not continue reading it because it was so terrifying. Yeah, I just finished chapter fourteen. Best laid plans, and all that...

Good work. Horrifying story! Hollis should have committed suicide a long time ago. And I am beginning to seriously doubt Lysander's "Good intentions!". Maybe his real plan is to torture Hollis out of jealousy, like the demon suggested. It would really suck if he had a thing for Decadence.
