Holy guacamole this is so good! Emerson's stubbornness sorta pissed me off a bit, but after accepting a whole lotta crap, he became more endearing to me.

This story deserves so many more reviews than it has! So glad I stumbled upon it :)

Once again Rohan proved himself an ass. He may have feelings for Emerson but he's just as bad as all his friends. It would be so much better if Emerson left him for good. Emerson may have grown up noble and is finally learning more about everyday regular people but he deserves a lover who's better than Rohan.

As much as I'm enjoying the story I honestly think Emerson would be better off with a lover and only a marriage in name only. I don't like Rohan. I think he's a smarmy ass no better than most of the nobles. He may have feelings for Emerson but to me Emerson's feelings seem more like Stockholm syndrome since he's never been courted or dated anyone before. I know most people wouldn't agree with me, just my personal opinion.

I have a few questions... What does "chi-hata" mean ? Is it a title as prince ? And I don't really understand why Emerson was angry with Rohan... Did he lack for delicacy ?

I totally cracked up at the completely unromantic way Emerson approached Rohan for sex. It's my favorite part.
Good job with the story. The characters are interesting, and so is the setting. Some characters are a bit stereotypical but mostly side characters, so it's fine.
Overall I enjoyed it very much.

Dammit, for a minute there I thought Emerson was growing some balls but then you chopped 'em off again. I really like these kinds of stories, but it always makes me mad when the one being forced to do something never sticks up for them selves. This is good so far, I like the plot. I liked Rohan better before they got married he is kind of an ass now though.

Read this story a long while back, saw it again and just reread it. I remember I had loved it then, and I am now positive this is an amazing story and I love it just as much, if not more the second time around.

No, being insulted during an argument caused by a righteous anger would NOT charm him or suddenly convince him he was in the wrong. It would only piss him off further.
That's why fights rarely accomplish anything.
Besides, he was RIGHT - R was looking down on him constantly, and no relationship can work without mutual respect. And, how can you respect something you are degrading? It wasn't really all that much he was asking for, a balance and a lack of mockery, a little consideration. Without it, he is little more than a toy, and with that 'I'm a man you're a boy' crap, he's been firmly relegated to the status of toy. His use is to follow orders, get fucked, and look pretty; his opinion means nothing.

I hope R gets a bit of a wake up call sometime soon. Otherwise, eventually someone WILL appreciate E and he'll lose him.
