Aww the ending to this chapter was so sweet!

I actually feel kinda bad for Jak though. Throughout Broken Wings, Izeri seemed so genuine. It's weird to 'see' his thoughts about Jak thinking that the world revolves around him. It's a totally understandable thing for Izeri to think though!

People are so mean to Izeri, it's rather sad. I loved the shell though, it was sweet.

I love the chemistry between these two. Charias is just about the right level of asshole. Often characters are either too assholeish to like at all or they are too flimsy with it and become super sweet guys almost immediately. You have established a fantastic balance.

When I first started to read this story, I was worried that Izeri would turn out to be kind of two faced. I'm glad that this doesn't seem to be the case. I also thought it was sweet that Izeri is giving Charias the benefit of the doubt, and seeing more of him than the shark.

I wonder what specifically happened to cause Charias to fail the class three times. All three of his partners couldn't have dropped out because he was a little mean to them.

So far, I think this is my favourite chapter. Perhaps I just have a weakness for classroom settings... I hope Meryn shows up quite a bit, because I enjoy him. And I think I'm liking Charias more this time round. Likely because he's a main character... I'm not really sure if I was making a point...hm. Aw well. Still loving this to bits!

This is a great story. I've especially liked chapter four and five. I love the side of Izeri we didn't get to see in broken wings. I also really like the people he meets in this chapter and I'm having a fangirl moment of what would happen between Sticky and their teacher :)... mind in gutter, I know. But yeah, great story.

Yay! I was hoping we'd get to see more of Sticky. The whole concept of a weregecko is just too fun!

O! Interesting. I keep feeling bad for Izeri, Jak doesn't even know that he's putting his foot in his mouth all the time.

You mentioned that this story will go beyond the timeline of Broken Wings, does that mean that Jak will find out about Izeri's issues? Another question is, (even though I'll find out the answer sooner or later anyways) Will getting the were spirit drive the Shival out of Izeri? Or will he be sharing his body with TWO other entities?

I love getting a different perspective on the story, had to go back and read Broken Wings in it's entirety when I found you had written Izeri's viewpoint. Really looking forward to this, thank you very much.
