Another brilliant chapter! I loved it!

Aw, now I KNOW you have something up your sleeve regarding Izeri's condition! Agh, and I used to think you weren't one for cliff-hangers. : Haha, well I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to me even the style(tone?) of the story has changed slightly so it seems to fit Izeri's line of thought more. You seem to describe Jak's speech with less detail was the first thing I noticed I think. Though this should be expected as the main character is now Izeri.. I think this'll be intriguing to view your world from his(a fairy's) point of view mhm. Can't wait to read more~!

I like this chapter and I think that it does reveal a lot about Izeri's character. When you see everything from Jak's POV, you make a lot of inferences about who Izeri is, so when you get to see these small pieces, like how he changes his answers to match Jak's perception of him/Jak's opinion, it's really eye opening and interesting (for me at least).

Although it was a repeat, you managed to make it seem new! I enjoyed reading Izeri's thoughts during that scene. Now his behaviour makes a lot more sense, rather than just being nervous.

I didn't find it that redundant, you learn so much more about Izeri in it. I say leave it in.

I just remembered when Izeri made it snow in their dorm room and he started freaking out at home mad Charlas was going to get and then he came out and threw a snow ball at him.

You posted this right as I was ready to give up on my essay, but now I have incentive to stay awake and finish.

Also, I don't think cutting this scene is necessary. As long as one isn't reading the two stories concurrently, this scene shouldn't be fresh enough in the mind to be overly repetitive.

More of a refresher than a tedious repetition.

I'm surprised that you decided to write a story from Izeri's point of view. It's a pleasant surprise though, I really was curious about him and Charias. Also, since you want people to give you their opinions about this story, I hope you don't just focus on the parts when Izeri is with Jak. We already know what happens from Jak's perspective and I think it would be rather boring if you were to dwell too long on them in Izeri's story. Maybe a scene or two would be cool. I look forward to reading this and good luck on the next chapter! I've always liked your writing.

I'm so excited that you're writing a sequel, especially from Izeri's point-of-view. It will be nice to read about the details of Charias's relationship with him and how he navigates school being a shival! I hope we'll be getting his side of the story during the escape from the vampire-horse, and what happened to cause his injury when he and Charias went "swimming". Ah...yes, I'm looking forward to reading this!
