Somehow, even though this is so short...I absolutely LOVE it. It expresses Nocte & Dire's relationship perfectly, I especially love how we get a glimpse into his pov of his sister. The fact that the story itself is so simple, but so full of human emotions is so so SO impressive 3 Read this after reading the Nocte Yin series so I may be..slightly...biased :p

This story is just so phenomenal. I've read it a bunch of times, but everytime I read it again I find something new (and sorry...I should have reviewed earlier). You have such a way with words and imagery in this piece, and the way you delve into the characters is amazing and beautiful. I love reading your stories about nocte, and I anxiously await any new updates you have for us! You rock.

I hope, also, that it is a sign that you have no completely abandoned Nocte. It's understandable that you are burnt out (what with the scale of the series,) but I hope that you'll return to it someday and finish the story.

I like the way you wrote this- the recurring yet subtly changed statements with the flowing memories. It was great, and you framed it well with the whole midnight sun thing.
