Well I am finally caught up to Ekron's current version! I will admit, I dobt like that Az died. If memory serves he survived in the original. That brought a tear to my eye. But I do think this is a much more concise and clean version of the story!

AHHHHH! This was so amazing! Geez, I loved it! Diora is an amazing, strong female lead, and I really loved her character! Tamer was a close second in the loved characters fight, and I will admit that a part of me wanted Tamer to turn out to be the prince in disguise. Cliche? Yes, definitely, but I loved Tamer's character! Hopefully I don't see you bringing back that whole "the royal guard shall be executed if he is accused of fraternizing with the fiance of his prince" rule. That sort of scared me when I first read it!

I'm glad to see that you finished this story. It is well done. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Your story was a wonderful roller-coaster of emotions, intrigue and politics. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can not wait for the sequel! I will be keeping my eyes on the bookshops and hope that one day your story will join my ever growing collection.

the only thing i don't like is, that syrion was only now introduced. i can understand it but now he is more or less a totally white sheet of paper so that you don't know what could happen between them. (it could be good or a total disaster) and i think diora and tamer would be a good couple too or at least really close friends.

This is a great story so far and i've enjoyed reading it seeing the story develop so far. The writing style seems different to other fictions i've read as well but in a completely good way. Keep up the fantastic work! XD

You did a nice job with the changes to this chapter. Everything makes sense now.

N'awww. KITTENZ! (Sorry, moment of cuteness overload there. That scene also worked well as simply giving Diora, and us readers, a teensy bit of a break). It was nice that Tamer was there for Diora to 'vent' to. I also kinda liked the bit where you gave a physical and verbal confirmation of something - like where Tamer asks Diora why she isn't happy, and she both trips and admits that she isn't. Gives you a good visual image in your head, although I'm sure that as with everything in writing, it could be overused.

I'm really looking forward to when she gets to Deveron (although I'm sure that'll be a wee while yet in coming), with the host of new characters and culture. Actually, the culture bit's going to be most interesting, I think - how their court works, manners, etc. Diora really is going to be chucked in the deep end when that happens. And of course the prince!

Azreal's journal sometimes just raises more questions than it answers, along with the moral and political lessons it demonstrates. Things like 'did Azreal go to the meeting knowing he was going to have to kill his own brother as opposed to just arresting him?', 'how much has his relationship with his brother Stephan changed now Stephan's king?'. But I guess part of that's the way Azreal writes the diary - more factual than emotional in parts. It's an interesting parallel storyline, but I'm not quite sure where it's going. But I guess that's just the intrigue part of it!

You can kinda tell that this chapter and the previous one were originally together, but breaking them up did no harm! I'm looking forward to the next instalment! (Although, I have final year uni exams coming up in the next 3 weeks, so if you don't get many reviews in that period, please don't be offended!).
