I'm really glad that Ariel has Jasly and her friends. Jade is such a bitch! I like Ariel's name. And I love The Little Mermaid.

Hm, interesting. One popular girl is nice to her and one is mean. I'm curious if the two are friends and how that'll play out. Blake sounds interesting . . . it was nice that he stood up for her, but didn't really stick with it when that girl tried to pass it off as being friendly. hmm... :)

Your descitions are written really well, especially when describing Jasly; I could picture her in my mind.

Word of advice, make sure you don't rush Ariel and the guy into a relationship, have some drama inbetween.

Overall it's a good story and I look forward to reading more :)
