Well anyway, I liked this part:

"a violet-eyed woman would enter into a union with the ruler of all lands. He said that through her grace and the power of their bond all would come to know him,"

because it seems obvious to me that "ruler of all lands" refers to Kieron, and that she somehow fits into his prophecy's cure as well...

I noticed something though and had a question about it. Is this supposed to be an entirely different earth or just a slightly modified one? I was wondering because you used the phrase "His cross to bear" in the prophecy which would only make sense if we were somewhere in a timeline on earth after Jesus.

Just wow. I can't put it into words how great you wrote that scene and this chapter. And we finally got to see Kieron's face, his explanation was definitely not what i thought but it worked with him not wanting to hurt anyone in town. Definitely one of the best chapters of the story so far.
