God gave us 2 great gifts: the freedom to act according to our own will (which is called "agency"); and the gift of His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins whenever we mess up.
Unfortunately, EVERYONE-even the wicked, evil, selfish people-have agency. God doesn't interfere with that. The choices we make in this life shape our character and determine where we will end up in the next life.
God is NOT a disinterested bystander. He loves all of us very much. But life is a test, and some people fail at it-badly. Some of us suffer because of the choices other people make. It isn't fair; it's just life. We all struggle. The trick is not to be one of the people who causes problems, but to do our best to be peacemakers and to love others unconditionally-just as Christ does.
Don't ever doubt that Heavenly Father and Jesus love you.
