Woah, how dark. It makes me feel like anything I say about this poem will be inadequate. But I do think that it's so ironic that the freest of creatures know nothing of God or churches or hell. It makes me wonder just what the point of religion may be. Perhaps we are caged things, limited in our perspectives. Whether or not that was the intention of your poem, that's what I ended up thinking about when I was done reading it.
