I love it - this just might be my new favourite of your posted stories! :D

I really liked how the present conversation (with Maggie's friends?) led into flashbacks because that made the story flow without sounding rushed.

It sucks about your parents - are you all doing okay? It must be a hard time, but I have faith you'll pull through. *hugs*
