AWW! Was that an ALMOST kiss?

A pleasant chapter, but Adelaide should have known how Sadie would react, Peter barging in or no Peter barging in. And I'm still wondering how Luke knows how to calm down a furious girl. I'm a girl, and I myself didn't know what do when such a situation happened prior to reading this chapter.

(I'm wondering if the baby will actually turn out to be a boy, or end up being a girl like Sadie wanted...)

Wow...This chapter is amazing :) I love how you're going deeper into their relationship, but it's not sudden at all. I can't wait to see what happens! Good luck! :D

I feel like I should hate Sadie, but it's hard to hate her just because of how many pregnant ladies I've dealt with, and how difficult they find it to...how you say, be functioning members of society. Speaking of society, I'm going to be one happy girl when we stop with the pink girls/blue boys thing...you can come visit my baby girl, she'll be wearing blue or green.

Before I continue, can I just say AAAAAAAAH LOGARITHMS 33333 I'm starting to think I am Adelaide. It's so nice to have someone who understands my mathlove, even if she is a character.

And I must say that I love how natural the progression of Adelaide and Luke's relationship is. I feel like I've already said this, but I love it. They've gone from the whole belligerence thing to now having an amicable relationship, without it seeming forced. Too many times I've seen on this site people being all "I hate you, blah blah, oh wait I love you now let's kiss." I've even seen it in published works (not to give anything away, but it rhymes with Shmilight). At any rate, I just had to commend you for that.

Hm, I like the metaphor about life and the sea and stuff. Great job on that. I also thought it was interesting that Lilia's 'sweeper' is named Blade. For some reason, I feel like he's some kind of weirdo, like whathisname (Sadie's husband)...

And I like how Luke was trying to let Lilia know that sweepers didn't exist. Great examples were given :)
