Okay, first off I love Adelaide and totally get her view of things. And then the sweeper thing, see, a sweeper doesnt have to be perfectly perfect or something like that but he should be able to sweep a woman off her feet and that's it, like he can have flaws, he can be arrogant, a jerk and all that but in the end the woman is swept off her feet and that's what makes a sweeper.

So...it's July, almost August, 2013. I don't see the sequel. But on with the review...
This story moves at a snail pace, I swear, but it never gets boring for some reason. For example, I don't like scenes with Adelaide and Kitty but in the end, I read the scenes with interest.
Believe it or not, it's not that cliché at all; there are plenty of surprises every where. Like how the love note wasn't a scheme of Farah's and how it turns out that Sadie doesn't like Peter.
I enjoyed reading this a lot. :) I'll check back soon hoping you've updated Keeper.

You are beyond evil. There are five more chapters left and you set her up with Quang?! I cannot believe this. Not only that but you hurt Lou too! Oh My Gosh. I cried when he said "I don't care"; my feelings were hurt. This is not okay.

You are evil, y'know? Interrupting Adelaide's love confession not once, but twice and I'm pretty sure the note was from Farah and not Luke. She doesn't deserve this pain.
Anyways, I'm whipping through these chapters too fast. There are about six more chapters for me to read and I'm sure the last one is an epilogue, it always is. Even if it isn't, I think there's too little time for them to resolve the problem and declare their love. Which means there's only one other answer left, they don't declare their love. But that can't be true because Luke is a sweeper and there are always good outcomes to stories with sweepers...right?

Does Adelaide know she likes Luke or what? Because this is killing me. From the way Luke acts, I'm sure he likes her but after what he said about sweepers, I feel as if when she confesses her love, he'll turn her away because he thinks he's not good enough. The anticipation for New Year's is killing me.

It completely irks me that I still don't have a visual image of Adelaide. She says that if she tries really hard to suck in her stomach, she'll look like a three month old pregnant woman and after getting to know her character, I'm not sure if I believe her. She jokes around a lot and seems like the type that will definitely put herself down. I don't know. This isn't working out for me.
On the other hand, I'm glad to see Adelaide is developing feelings for Luke, and not negative ones.

So, I figured out why the name Luke Sawyer was so familiar to me. That's the name of a character from the Fifty Shades Trilogy. Hahah. I suppose names can make a person start reading a story. Not like that sentence made any sense.

I absolutely loved this. Where's the sequel? I'm not sure when you last updated, but I can wait if you're still thinking about it!

I LOVED ALL OF THIS. I probably laughed at least four times every chapter. Even when they were fighting. That might make me a little unbalanced, but somehow, some of those fight scenes came off as hilarious to me. So thanks!
OH! And I'm not sure if you picked 1984 for a reason, but I loved that book. Like, I could dissect that book in so many different ways that my classmates hated my long answers to the simplest questions. So yes.

This story was a bit cliché but romance usually is. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed reading this especially because of the humor. I found this story quite funny and entertaining. I felt it was a bit dragged out though (causing me to skip a few chapters) and I found Luke's character at times really frustrating. Despite all this, it was a really cute story with a nice happy ending!

This... this was wonderful. A beautiful masterpiece. Absolutely brilliant. It was the perfect balance of everything; I cried and I laughed hysterically, it had funny and random moments as well as places where I read the deepest things ever.
What I like most is how it was so original yet managed to be completely believable. At times I was so immersed in the story I felt that each and every character was a real person.
Adelaide was so unperfectly perfect. She had her (dare I say many?) flaws but still was agood person overall. And all of the attention wasn't focused on her. Kitty and Sadie were both going through hard times that Adelaide had never experienced which was a great doorway into character development.
Also every person had their own distict personality and features and almost none of them were stereotypical. I loved how Quang was so awkward but gentlemanly once Adelaide got to really know him. And Luke, he was amazing. I loved his backstory, it really filled out his character .
So the one thing I would really like to get across to you in this review is simply two words: Thank You.
Thank you for writing this fantastic story amd posting it on here. It was everything I could ask for and even more in my dream story. A truly spectacualar piece of writing. Congratulations on writing this and please keep on writing because I will most definately keep on reading! :)

I'm not going to lie. I've come across this story many times, but every time I dragged my feet. But today I finally gave up and read it. The whole thing. In one sitting. And I fell in love with it! The characters were flawed, but perfect because of it. They felt real. I loved how you portrayed each relationship and the ups and downs that they went through. They way you showed the gradually turn of feelings that Adelaide had towards Luke was well paced and very realistic. I'm glad that I finally read it! :)
