|Reviews for The Question Of The Cold War|
| Punslinger chapter 1 . 1/13/2011
You have some good points here. But you should proofread your writing to catch mistakes, such as calling the Constitution's first ten amendments "the bill of writes" instead of the Bill of Rights.
It is not correct to say that the Cold War never happened. Much of it consisted of the vast build-up of weapons, including atomic weapons. Most of them were never used, but there were some violent clashes, such as the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, when soldiers of the USA and other capitalist countries fought the communist armies of North Korea and China, who were helped by the USSR.
You didn't make it too clear that the basic difference between the two systems is that capitalism protects the individual's rights, while communism forces the individual to be part of a group and sacrifice himself for it.
