It's almost sad that I got so invested into something written a decade back. I loved the title "chopped liver". Pop culture references are amusing. Regards of how everyone in the story perceives her, Alex is a likable character.

Enjoyed the update, I wonder how this plan will go. I wonder what Carson's deal is, and if he will play a bigger(nicer?) part in the story.

Well, at least she's constant, but man...

I like the reverse gossip, talking smack about the pretty girl was pulled off well, I felt bad for her, what an awkward situation!

Ah, the "Mr. Darcy" appears! hooray, these are far and away my favorite sort of characters. Will Alex thaw his heart? She damn well better! Also, I like the way you're portraying Tucker as this rather... selfish guy who seems to only think for himself "I don't want you to be mad at me, sort of nonsense." Bulshi*t

I have to wonder if you're from this region. I'm from the pacific northwest (I live in the foothills, wear flannel, smoke salmon, the works) so it's always interesting seeing another area portrayed.

I like this chapter, nothing much to say, but I liked being able to feel the relief with the character. I know what it feels like to be with family after a hard time (well, most of my family).

Your story has really good flow, it's sweet, and mild and just the sort of thing you want to read on a cold day off! Only suggestion is to make the flashback a little bit more obvious. Not italics or anything, but I just didn't realize I was reading a flashback at first - whoops! I had to scroll up to reorient myself.

Haha! I'm glad I clicked this, it's shaping up to be cute! At first I wondered if that Carson guy would end up liking her, but he was basically a huge jerk, so now I'm properly focused on Alex and Tucker. But how will she win him back? I don't know how I should feel about Delaney, she's just there. I wonder if she has any fangs to bear when she's pushed into a corner. I'm totally looking forward to the next chapter!
