| Melanie chapter 1 . 2/24/2013
Excellent. The parallelism was expertly done, and there were a lot of things I related to in here, including the desire for approval as someone who fits into a gender. I especially appreciated that you presented the nonconformity to prescribed gender as empowering, rather than isolating, since there's a tendency to go with the bad rather than the good in a lot of cases.

Perfect, perfect, perfectperfectperfect, all I can say.

This. is. genius.
I love it. These lines are brilliant:
"And I am made of skin and blood and hope and heartache
I glance my fingers off my lover's collarbones
and feel the rain on my skin and the grass between my toes"
So emotive and full of imagery. I love the idea behind this and the thought and all the lettering and describing words. But I have to say my favorite part is definitely the message. It gets the point of getting over who people you want to be and who YOU want to be across so well. Its truly fantastic.

(Claps like crazy)
This is the reason I put you as my favorite seem to write down exactly what I feel.
