| xoxluurve chapter 10 . 8/16/2011 I thought you had a great beginning to a story, a little slow, but had great potential nonetheless. I was okay with Becca inviting Silas in for morning coffee, but the part about the dinner was a little iffy to me, considering this current chapter. (It was a little fast paced, considering how cautious and stubborn of a mate she was being.) But during the dinner bit, I accepted it. This chapter, to be honest, disappointed me a lot. Becca seemed to take a whole personality switch. I understand that she has the right to be angry, but the fact that she was so accepting in the beginning just made me scratch my head and made me wary to read ahead. And the dialogue. She's angry, okay, but the curses merely makes her appear juvenile. A good piece of writing is able to send the anger message across without resulting to expletives. Well, that's the major points for now. Onto the next chapter. |
