|Reviews for Final Flight|
| Alias Blue chapter 1 . 9/8/2011
Hi, I had a little scout around, read the first five poems on your profile. I really like some of them. Especially Carpet – I may leave a review for that later.
I like this poem, but not as much as some of the others. I like the atmospheric imagery of the giant statues. And the ending was really good. The suddenness and the lack of information throughout the whole poem makes it intriguing. I like not knowing exactly what's going on.
That said, this poem didn't wow me.
I like the straight-forward language you use. I prefer it so much more to overly-flowery 'poetic' language. But, for me, there weren't phrases or words that jumped out at me. It was really nicely written, and so easy to read with lovely vocab and description. I enjoyed it, but it wouldn't draw me back to read again.
There was nothing here that I disliked though, I think if you took some time over it, you could craft something really amazing.
It has made me want to read some more of your poems. They're the kind of style I like.
