Reviews for The Last Peace
Jamborina chapter 1 . 5/13/2011
When you're young, you look at our flag and think. "I'm in the best country ever. We got freedom and equality."

Then you grow up, and you see the CIA, racism, defecit spending, the evidence of torture in US prisons, all the red tape in passing laws and corrupt officials. You hear of things like the Bay of Pigs and you realise that even a government for the people, by the people, of the people still has its rotten spots. Nothing's perfect. We're still human and we still make horrible mistakes.

Thanks for the awesome poem. It made me think, if the above paragraph didn't make it obvious. ;)

May your pen never run out of ink,

So uh... it won't let me log in to send a review...? Whatever, I liked this poem! You have a talent for writing them. And I get pretty bored in History class as well. A lot, actually, haha. Good work.
