It's a really cute introduction. I like how shallow you made the boy seem - he's a jock, right? I'm not sure how he met his new girlfriend but to me it seems as if he literally went around saying can you be my rebound - he seems to be a really good looking guy so it wouldn't make sense for him to get such an average girlfriend to get his ex jealous.
