This poem has an intriguing message; I like the feeling you've put into it. However, with a structure like this you may want to try making each line the same number of beats.

I like it. But I notice that the title and your email are the same, and wonder if there is a strong metaphor or personality associated with "shapeshifter" in your eyes. Beyond that, very good use of repetition and rhythm. Great feet-sense.

This is really good stuff! There are so many good poets on this site if i added all the poems i like to my favourites there'd be hundreds! This is about feeling inadequate in love right? Even if it isn't thats how I interpret it.. Very descriptive and the dark stuff adds to the feeling of sadness and frustration..
