There is a different style in your work from what I have seen from others till now. Your story is more vivid for imagination and when the imagination runs your story starts moving like a movie, if you can then please try to show the thoughts of Slade too as most of the time we are only reading Silvia's thoughts...hope you continue the story, will wait for the next chapter update.
