I guess this was one of those stories an author starts because of a random bout of inspiration, only to later realize they can't take it anywhere interesting and drop it. Tis a shame.

That's one hell of a start to a zombie apocalypse/alien invasion.

I followed this off a favorite list of somebody who Favorited me...I'll have to look up you other work, but this is Excellent so far. I mean, we have an interesting view of a fairly standard Zombie apocalypse...but there is an interesting "alien or possibly magic or something" going on here also. I'm not sure if this is "Resident Evil High Tech" or "Buffy the Vampire slayer Magic"...looking forward to finding out
