Reviews for Playing Pretend
L. Sherman chapter 1 . 6/15/2011
This is beautiful, hun! I absolutely love it. Your words are eloquent, simple; the message is transcendent.

My favorite part is the last stanza, particularly the lines "Because with the Earth/Illuminated by moonlight/And your hand wrapped around mine/I sometimes forget/That life's not as endless as the stars."

Beautiful. And it really makes you stop and think. About how minute our time on Earth really is, and how insubstantial we really are to the Universe.

This is just absolutely my favorite

I think that this is very good, but I personally saw a differant theme than love, so I don't really think that the last line fit...But that's just me. Also, the repitition of "I Listen". I kinda thought it should be in the last stanza as well... But, as I said, it was very good over all. I thought it flowed smoothly and had good vocab at the same time...
