Well that was...disturbing, especially the last line. Very well written, the whole thing gave me chills.

As far as I'm concerned, 'horror' is the perfect category to place this story in. No monster, demon, or otherworldly entity the macabre has to offer, NOTHING can compare to the horrors and terrors of man.

The story is unbelievably sad, the narrative elegant, and that last line, if it doesn't make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, I might be inclined to say something is wrong with you.
