![]() ![]() ![]() Ha! hahaha! Bomani worried about kissing. Yes! *dances around giddily* yes yes yes :) perfect last chapter... Shana, and Jarai, and cattle. Wheee *hug* |
![]() ![]() WOOT! Wonderful chapter :D. And I've been meaning to say this for like the last five chapters but kept forgetting, I would like to see a chapter from Nessa's point of view of what happens between when she runs away and her death. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, the ending was so cute :3 I'll be waiting for the next update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, I know I'm just speculating here, but when Bomani was playing with Khensa's hair and got cut off in the middle of this big dramatic statement, I'm pretty sure he was going to say "You're beautiful". Completely sure. He was totally going to say it, and then they were going to make out. This chapter was just as amazing as the last. It seems like it's been a never-ending road filled with misery and pain for everyone, but now that it's looking up, everything seems so... good. Everyone is happy, and that's the way I like it, despite how engrossing it is to read about them suffering. I mean, when that Stepper lady said "Be happy"? It got me, it really did. That just did it for me. It cemented the fact that I am probably totally going to cry a little bit during the next chapter and the epilogue. I'm just so glad everyone's alive and... Sigh. I am just so glad everyone's back together. I missed Shana. I wish you'd have written more about the Steppers, too, because they seemed absolutely fascinating. You said, a while back, that Shana was supposed to look Mongolian, and I can see that you based their culture on that of the Mongols, but the Mongols, historically, were fierce warriors... Huh. Gosh, I wish you'd write a sequel about Shana or something. But that's probably never to be. I am wall-eyed with excitement, squirming in my computer chair, and flailing my arms for the next chapter. And I bet it'll be just as amazing as these last two. |
![]() ![]() aww man i'd forgotten how awesome this chapter was. I normally prefer quick resolutions that answer every question in a few pages, but you've converted me. You ended this story really well, with a feeling of satisfaction, even though they didn't save the world and become king, as they so often do, even though they lost a lot, they still end up happy. |
![]() ![]() This is, without a doubt, my absolute FAVORITE chapter in the entire duology (not counting Sulfur's epilogue) Thank you so much. 3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the happier tone and side to this chapter and even though I've already read it, you have me in anticipation for the next chapter. It was interesting to be introduced to another culture and way of life. A wonderful chapter. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved the chapter. I loved the last one - but this one blew me away. They're finding happiness, and hope, and peace... and it's like an old friend who never left them. Uff, I'm so glad they're able to find peace again. I was afraid they would never be the same - which is true in so many ways - but they're starting to remember what it felt like to be normal. Anyway, the fact that they find comfort in each other brings joy to my heart... I just hope they get a minute or two together, so say what needs to be said and let each other know how they feel. I hope Khansa finds the strength to muster the words of her heart, and let Bomani know what he does to that flustered mind of hers! I, too, hope Bomani finds the courage to do whatever his heart desires. He may not want to be King, or a Symbol of the Revolution, but in the end, I do hope he finds love and happiness. I have a feeling the next chapter will bring that! :) Anyway, one tiny little correction: "I would have lied upon the warm earth forever" to 'I would have lay*'. Good job with this chapter. Loved every bit of it! Wish you the best with the next chapter, and SO looking forward to it. Friday could not come any sooner! x |
![]() ![]() YES YES YES! Finally! Shana is back in the picture, Jarai is back in the picture, Bomani and Khensa can freaking be together! Love it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh boy! :) Is it finally going to happen? Lol |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh boy! :) Is it finally going to happen? Lol |
![]() ![]() ![]() By God! You have no idea how long I waited for that storm to finish. You really pushed your characters to the limit, I felt frustrated and tired for them both, "When will it ever end!". I'm glad it did, after this long they both deserve an ultimate happy ending, if your not going to do it for them, do it for me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the way they argued like a married couple in this chapter. :P I also enjoyed seeing a bit more of Bomani's thoughts on his country, his past and his role. Ooh, you've made me excited about you're next novel! :D |
![]() ![]() I'm glad that they've found some kind of peace together. I can't think of any other questions to ask at this time, hopefully the ones I've already asked will suffice. Great job on this duology! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awww, this chapter was a little short but very sweet. :) |
