Good job. Who doesn't reminisce about the good old days? Life gets so complicated as you get older. Always about popularity, or fashion, or whether or not you have a boyfriend or girlfriend. I love kids for their bluntness, and their ability to see things that teenagers and adults can't. I'm a big kid now, and I sure as hell don't like it.

hmm, even though this story is rather sad, i really do like it! Its well written with few words, which is really important especially with one shots. Who doesnt wish they were five again, where the way you were friends with someone new was by walking up to them and just asking them flat out, "wanna be my friend?" Kids are awesome in their directness, unfortunately its a trait that vanishes as we all grow up.I like the matching between the beginning and the end, it brings a feel of closure. Good job with this!
