Nice beginning. So far as good old-fashioned revenge schemes go, you can't beat spiking someone's drink with laxative. :p

I think starting off the story with a fast-moving, dialog-heavy sequence like this one was a good choice-drew me right in. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this.

One thing, though-your second-to-last paragraph's pretty chunky, so consider breaking up some of that exposition. It's important information and I think would have more of an impact if it wasn't all blocked together.
