![]() ![]() ![]() This is so blindingly fantastic and I just love the characters (especially Tanner) and the relationships. It's perfect. You're prefect. This has made my day. |
![]() ![]() OMG I absolutely adore this story, every single fucking moment of it. I'm spazzing right now XDD Omg I just love this so much. The rules, the words, Tanner, and roz, how he calls him Tan and the fact that he fell in love with him enough to WANT him and to break up with Japheth, EVERYTHING! This is like the most adorable love story everrr O Man and it's just really kind of sexy the way Roz wants him haha |
![]() ![]() ![]() I adore this, even if the way things turned out are bitter sweet. |
![]() ![]() Beautiful story. Imaginative, empathetic. I felt a strong connection between the characters. Wonderful short story. Sweet. |
![]() ![]() im cry i've read almost all your stories multiple times i cry every time |
![]() ![]() this is so very sweet and well-written, I've never actually read something with such unusual plot :) |
![]() ![]() This is gorgeous. Sometimes hot, screaming stories with palpable sexual tension are a lot of fun and an entertaining read and all. But then sometimes, I really like this type of story - kind of quiet and soft and gentle, lovely in its own way. I read Drunk Text and I thought, wow this author is great at this kind of intense stories. And then I read Words and Their Digestion and it turns out you did a fabulous job at a different kind of stories, too, so that probably means you're great all-around. Anyway, I'm sometimes a picky shit when it comes to reading stuff, but I can do nothing but praise this. Rock on, author! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ahhh... I'm in love with that story, even though I feel a bit sorry for Japheth. Still, life is life and it's impossible almost to control one's heart. A great job showing it, as well as Tanner's condition and how it affects him and those around. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, this was really wonderful. Especially since when I was little, I used to think certain words sounded pretty, and certain words sounded rough. And reading this, I had to repeatedly run to the bathroom to blow my nose and wipe my eyes, because certain points were so heart-wrenching. Great job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sweet story. I love how you play with words and bring me to an other level of reading. Make me think of how I feel with words. I my perception you made this story out of sleek, soft, fluffy words, despite the somewhat prickly subject. If that was your purpose, in my opinion you succeeded. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What an interesting read! I found Tanner's character delightful to explore, simultaneously flawed and gifted with eccentricity as he is. Very well-written dialogue, both internal and external. I am rather sorry that things turned out the way they did with Tanner's two oldest friends, but it's a realistic, bittersweet thing that just sometimes happens in life. Who knows, maybe things will change in the future. The ending was nicely written too; it sets a good, light mood for new beginnings and personal growth. Good work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() awesome |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was just lovely, so glad ive ever read something like it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, my... What a sad ending. D Sad and hopeful at the same time. I'm really glad that I got to read this story, and that you wrote it. It's feel-good-hurt story, and it's relateable. I think pretty much every reader can sympathize with Tanner, Japheth and Roz at the same time, which allows the story to come together very nicely. The way you made Tanner is really quite serendipitous in a way, with his existence in relation to the other characters and the unique set of expectations held by the readers and his peers. Until about half way through when Tanner really, actually started talking, I thought you were presenting him, and would continue to present him, as a retard. But he isn't, and that's what makes him unique. Because he thinks like that and acts and talks completely differently, it's really an amazing challenge to keep up with him on an intellectual and personal level. That you were able to delve into such depth and nuance really makes me happy as a person to have read this. I'm so glad that there are people out there who do occasionally go beyond face value and present something that's multidimensional. So, really... thank you so much. I really, really appreciated reading this. ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, boys and their hornyness. I really like the Things idea. It's like extreme OCD and word problems. It's all really fascinating to me. I also think it's funny that he likes to be controlled ;] ahah, so this one-shot is great. Except for the fact that he ended up with only one friend in the end . Still lovely though! Luck with life and writings and yada-yada. ~ibbit:] |
