AppleCrumble recommended this to me and i agree with her, it's a really well-written, thoughtful poem. I love the ongoing metaphor of of politicians been fake and made-up (i think) and especially the lines:
'Eye-shadow to dust in the creases and lines
To smooth over, make pretty the disaster signs'
'One hand manicured, holding out cash
Another grubby in your pocket, restocking the stash'
a really good poem written beautifully and i agree so much with the sentiment, hahah. :D

I loved that poem! It's quite beautiful and it really gives the feel of politics, at least in my eyes it does. You've written some very powerful things there. I must say, I'm a tad jealous. ;)
