I probably don't understand this as much as I think I do, but I'm going to say that the metaphors are very delicate and touching. I love the fourth and seventh stanzas.

i know i haven't been reviewy as of late. i'm sorry. i will, however, attempt make it up to you with this! apologies in advance for the breathlessness.

i loved the third stanza (closet monster), and the lion king quote fits very well with the underlying theme of the story. also, the "broken glass" stanza. very well done. please write more soon? :)
