Brillant story! When I started it I couldn't stop. I had a lot of water works in this. It was truly a heart warmer great story before Christmas. If you're going to continue write a sequel to this then please do (Will it be Kaia's turn to fall in love? **nudge nudge**), I can't wait to read it!

...who fell in love with Mia even when he knew that he shouldn't, then suffered in silence and self-enforced isolation for years, and who finally laid his heart on the line to help Mia after she lost her first husband. By keeping Pierre prominent in both of their hearts and minds he honored his friend and allowed Mia's heart to open again.

This was a very well-written and beautiful story. I hope that you will write more long stories in the future.

The proposal was nice. It would have been better if all of that smoke from the candles hadn't set off the fire-suppression system, which triggered the water sprinklers and doused every room in the building... it is probably a good thing that you didn't include that in your story... (the lawyers are still working on the compensation package and have instructed Damon to remain silent on the issue)

And now it is official. They didn't waste any time letting the world know, which is good. Everyone was probably already talking about them anyway.

OMG! I'm soooo happy for them! My lips are almost bleeding right now coz Damon is nervous as I am. Phew! I thought Mia might say 'no', that's a relief!

I feel so bad though, 2 or 3 chapters left :'(
