Ok, nevermind. I skipped to this chapter and realised that it's completely! I always get post series depression and I have a feeling that finishing this story will cause some of the worst I've ever had. That's a compliment!

I think this might be the first time reviewing this? After the third or fourth time trying to read this fic I forced myself to read the first chapters until the time loop happens and I'm so happy I did. This story has constantly been by my side for at least a year now. Whenever I feel bored/don't have anything to do I start reading this fic. The world building is incredible and if I didn't know I was reading this on Fictionpress I'd think this would be a book! Absolutely incredible work. I'm a bit apprehensive of continuing (I will of course) since the last update is more than a year ago now I think. If I remember correctly this fic isn't finished? It'd be a shame to read the last chapter and find out it's abandoned but I'll do so anyway. Thanks for writing this story!

Now I reread this, I mean the matriarch has some reason to doubt Zorian about the 6 months, but Zorian was also in the presence of Zach and had to hide his presence in case of a third time traveler keying into his existence. So technically unjustified but still.

I’ll be honest, few stories keep as interested and entertained as this did. It was amazing, oh it certainly had rough spots and a few pacing issues, but what story doesn’t? Other then does minor issues, you made something wonderful, you managed to pack an entire magic system, worldbuilding and exposition galore into a readable and interesting format. And making exposition entertaining is something hard to do. I don’t think I’ve ever been this interested in a legion of side characters, and I think this is definitely good. Also, I didn’t expect that twist at the end with the city marble illusions things. No seriously that was unexpected, came out of left field, and was absolutely amazing.

This story slaps as much as everyone claims. Awesome, terrific work. These characters and the trappings of this setting are gonna live rent-free in my head for a loooong time.

Is it wrong that the Gray Hunter is my favorite character? Never mind, don't answer that.

The detail and amount of thought put into the spells is particularly intriguing! :)

I read this story once, back in - May, I believe? I may have left a review on it, but I don't remember doing so, and besides - one review, after binge-reading my way through well over 800,000 words of an extremely incredible story, is hardly a fair trade.

I might add that I read the entire story in a week, and it is the best fantasy I've read in a long time. I do, of course, have a few 'complaints' to make, chiefly the lack of Zorian and Zach interaction, since I really love both those characters. If I remember correctly, there's quite a long segment in the middle of the story where Zach doesn't show up at all.

But the pros of this story far outweigh the cons. ;D I particularly love the level of attention that was given to the worldbuilding.

Is it wrong that I'm imagining Quatach-Ichl as disgustingly debonair and staggeringly sexy? Never mind, don't answer that.

Ack! Losing Alanic sucks, and his warning holds some pretty fearsome tidings, but the idea that he would oppose the theft of a plainly necessary Key seems... wrong.
I'm guessing that it was more of an excuse to get away from Silverlake?

You don't mention if they continue to use the black rooms?

What was that comment about having the skill to pilot an airship being worthless? lol
