Oh dear, this is so interesting and filled with drama and suspense, you had me on my toes when I began reading the second chapter, it's short, but sill a really good hook to read, please keep working on this if you get time, I also found it hitting close to home, I know what it's like.

Losing a parent and even having a really bad break up with my boyfriend. the only element I don't have is this young man who practically owns the town, who wouldn't find that intimidating, I merely hope she won't let this man try to take over her life. Better yet get him slapped once in public that's ruin him slightly, or just make him pissed off!

Though to be fair I'd probably just hit him and be dammed of the issues that would follow XD

Ether way I really enjoyed it and I hope to see more!

Also, while I'm sure your question has been answered by now, a beta reader is someone who reads your chapters before you post them online and they can tell you of you have grammatical errors, plot holes, if things don't make sense, and et cetera.

pretty interesting. kinda bugs me how she can pull a knife out on chris but cant tell that other guy to bugger off. / she needs to toughen up to jerks like that
