I loved this! I will totally buy it. I love how deep the main character was, and how quickly, efficiently and meaningfully you made the plot all within this small part. You will be a great author.

What a lovely story...and how adept you are at conveying an entire mythology or universe in this case in such a short piece! Hats off... please continue this piece... very poignant too.

There's nothing i can tell you that you shouldn't already know. Your characters are amazing and although they developed they remained true to their core characteristics, which is difficult to do as a writer and I very much appreciated it. Your plotline was unique and surprising; whenever I thought, okay I know what's going to happen now, something completly else happened. Your writing style is very engaging, even if you tend to use a lot of similies throughout the story, they were good ones.

I really enjoyed readong your story. So much so that I stayed up for two nights in a row and read the whole thing whilst on holidays! I look forward to reading your other stories and will tell my friends on fictionpress about your writing style, which I still very much adore!

Oh my goodness. I can legitamately say i adore your writing style. It has been a long time since I've liked someones writing style on fictionpress. Characters, plotline and such are easy to like, but writing style- a unique and instantly interesting one- is so rare.

Hello, fantasy writer. It is I the notorious Mr. Pointerouter. I feel it is my duty to talk to you about your writing skill.

While they are not horrible, I can conclude that your lack of reviews and reads are from the way you start off, and thus most people don't get past the first chapter. Your beginning is needed to be grabbing and strong, rather than slow and steady reaching to a climax. Most prefer something that snatches their eyes and forces their attention, ya know? I also feel that your writing reads a tad unprofessionally. That is in no way meant to be rude, but certain things just don't seem very smooth. The small bursts of thoughts like the, 'ah yes, a halfy.'

Personally I felt no need for that to be on a fresh line. It just made it seem like you were attempting to take up space. Though, that's likely just my opinion.

Diagnoses: Lacking enough detail and attention grabbing first sentence/paragraph.

Suggestion: Re-read and edit. Take your time.

I love this story. There's something very engaging and distinct about your writing style. I really enjoyed the last 3 chapters, but everything before that in book two was a little dry, sort of list the narrative thread. But I very much enjoyed the epic-ness of the ending. Probably one of my favorite stories on fictionpress.

I can see that your story has only been up a day, and I've only read one chapter, but I honestly don't get how it doesn't have any reviews! One chapter in, I can already tell that it's well written, clever, and has a followable plot. Thumbs up, and I hope you get more reviews.

Just a bit of advice, I think that maybe posting one chapter a week would help a bit with reviews, because it would help keep the story where other people will see it, and with posting the whole thing at once, people only see a massive word count and no reviews, which looks bad. I was SO close to not bothering because of that, but I'm glad I did.
