I first read Gladys the Guard years ago, and to this day it was one of my all time favorite reads that I couldn't read just once. I was completely heartbroken when I found out you had taken all your stories down from fictionpress. Every once in a while I'd check up to see if there was any updates - whether you were going to repost the stories or if you were going to publish. I cannot tell you how blindingly happy I am that you have. I greatly enjoyed Abby the Witch and Zero as well, and can't wait to read the rest of your work.

This story is honestly amazing, i think this is the third time i've read this. And thats just this month! Haha, i'm honestly in love with the characters, especially Gladys and Max. I was collapsing in laughter during the bit where she's on the roof and he's in the bathroom. And the start is very good, normally i hate it when a story starts with it's like ending kind of but i love this one.

I think having notifications would be less troublesome than keeping up with that long session. Either way though I it was a clever and interesting story, had to keep your head while reading it as it switched povs without a break and time jumped a lot. Good writing though, be happy

Awesome. Yet again a story I "couldn't put down, " if that were possible online. Loved the original plot and the fast -paced action. The characters were fun and I liked that it wasn't just Gladys with the awkward moments. I would have liked to know a little more about some of the other characters, though, maybe seen some more background from Max. And it would be really cool to know more about finding the tomb in the first place - maybe a short supplemental? At any rate, once again I was fully engrossed and can't wait to read more!

I recently purchased "What is released" on Smashwords and I took the opportunity to take and finish "Gladys the Guard". I wanted to thank you for your texts, I began to read it shortly before you remove them from fictionpress. It was a shock, I was in the middle of reading Gladys .

I hope to buy and read more of your texts in the future and I am especially interested in "Trouble and treasure". I hope you will finish it one day. And I saw that you work on a sequel to "Details, details, details". It's great!

Haha! That was a great story! Definitely had an original plot! Loved your first chapter and you had me hooked through the rest. I was hoping for a little more Max/Gladys at the end but nevertheless a fun, riveting, action packed tale!

Hey, found a mistake in chapter one. The sand jackals cannot be killed by normal bullets, only bullets with pieces of their weapons in them. Max, however, kills that one with his gun. Just FYI.

Is it odd that I experienced heart palpitations and a slight shortness of breath upon discovering that this story had returned to Fictionpress?

I am stoked - seriously!

I think this is one of my favourite chapters. I just adore it. We meet Max, hot Scots special ops agent who is just, love him. We get to see Gladys at her worst and her best at the same moment and just, it highlights how socially awkward she is and uncomfortable in her own skin when she's around other people and just, I love her, I really do.

We meet her cousin and see her 'powers' come in but in such a way that it can sort of make sense since all she does in her free time is play video games so it's not suspicious. I just, this whole chapter is win.
