Happy birthday then! :D I hope you have a wonderful birthday, though I don't see how you should reward us with another chapter when it's your birthday tomorrow. We should be rewarding you with stories or something of the like in appreciation of everything. But anyways, I'm getting off topic.

Overall, the chapter was nice. The plot progression is definitely interesting, and I'm wondering what Nadia wants with Capron. The reveal of Callana being a magician is surprising, and I wonder what's going to happen now. There's so many different questions running in my mind, and that's what is great about this story - there are so many different little plot elements to be explored and revealed that you're always on the edge of your seat.

If you ever go back to edit, I do suggest making the progression of all the emotions more developed and slower. It just felt a little bit rushed - that's all. The sudden anger, coldness, pain, and sadness in this chapter were all very strong emotions. However, it felt slightly off with the characters only because the development of these emotions could have been better fleshed out. A slower progression and a better explanation of why the characters feel these emotions would make everything fit much better.

Overall, it was a great chapter though. I really do love this story and every single chapter that you manage to create and publish.

Slightly out of character, but yet not. It's seems a natural progression of events considering both of them are going to their death. Impending death brings people closer together.

So I think they did the right thing in reaching out for one another.

I still think Callana is evil, though.

What? You switched from Capron and Ardis? I was so interested in seeing what would happen next, but now... I guess I have to wait to see how their scene with Nadia will play out... and I was so excited. Oh well, this chapter with Torin was great anyways.

The plan Torin has conducted is definitely unique (in terms of plot). It's fresh and different than most plans I've read. Using war to gain human bodies to revive the creatures? Very intriguing. So, there is a method to Torin's method. I haven't really been certain about him as a villain, but now, it's clear that he is very diabolical.

[Our dear friend is with her at this moment.] What is that supposed to mean? I'm pretty certain Ardis is the White Magician, so the only question is... who is the friend? Is it Nadia? Or is it Callana? I find it hard to believe it's Callana because she would never support Torin, but I don't know... You always manage to throw twists that surprise me.

Either way, this was an interesting chapter. It definitely made me more anxious about what will happen next. This is such a great story.
